First class service. Cares very much about his clients. We had two doctors telling us different things about one of my son’s prescriptions. James didn’t just take word for it and encouraged us to get another opinion just to be safe. Long story short, it was a huge mess up in doctor’s office and the prescription would have been bad for my son. We got it resolved. My wife and I and our two boys all use eyedeal. They are affordable, honor the warranty’s without question and very communicative. Highly recommend.

Their new location is perfect! 5811 E. Riverside 😎 This is the best place in Rockford to get your classes! They have very reasonable prices! I have been going here for our family for the past 20 years! The staff is awesome, caring, kind and go the extra mile!

This place rocks and the staff is super friendly and helpful, I came in to fix a broken lens and they fixed it within not even 2 minutes and all was good definitely recommend going here for any help with frames.
I recently purchased a couple pairs of eyeglasses from this store and I have to say, the owner was amazing! They were extremely knowledgeable about their products and helped my son and me find the perfect pair of glasses that fit my style and prescription needs. The owner was also very friendly and made the whole buying experience enjoyable. I highly recommend this store for anyone looking for a great selection of eyeglasses and excellent customer service.
These guys are the bomb. I had to leave for college, so they installed my lenses and adjusted the glasses in one visit - and - did repairs that I had been slacking on getting for a while!
The frames are all more affordable than other places and, if you appreciate neutral frames styles (which is everyone who does not want their glasses to be a statement piece), you can probably find something for you here. I've checked out other places from time to time, but Eyedeal Optical is the only place in Rockford where I've found frames that I like. Not to mention, I get lots of compliments on my glasses, which are super comfy to wear. (Win-win!)
Overall, these guys are a perfect example of a strong local business that does their part in making Rockford a city worth living in.

This place is another one of my well kept secrets but I’m going to go ahead and tell you! As you can see within my photos they do have many frames to choose from but I bet you did not know this! They will replace your lens to your new prescription where you can bring in the frames of your favorite kind and they also give you a military discount of 10%! I’ve been using this place for many years but I also do have a few frames from here too! (I couldn’t resist) This is a local mom and pop shop so please show them the support they need to stay here!

Eyedeal Optical is definitely a one of a kind eye center. From the amazing staff, quality of service, knowledge, and vast selection of frames. You simply can’t go wrong when you pay them a visit. Over the 30 years I have needed corrective lenses, Eyedeal has been my one and only stop. In need of a quick fix or an adjustment, no worries, they will have you in and out looking your best. Just yesterday (7/27) I visited with my vintage Oakley sunglasses hoping James could make them proscription for me. By 2pm my eyes were saying “THANK YOU” for the shade.

I wanted to thank the owner For his attention to detail and willingness to help me find a pair of glasses. He did not try to up sell me and gave me what I needed. I came back later to bring in my old glasses that he said he could RE-Use and put in new frames. But he is a magician and fixed my old pair and did not charge me. I have two pair of glasses now. This place is reasonable if not under priced. I will recommend this place to all. Thank you and I love to see craftsmanship and professionalism all in one.
